About the job

DUTIES

  • In light of new or evolving environmental policies, standards, rules, or laws, review or update supply chain practises.
  • When choosing transportation routes, combine shipments or combine warehousing and distribution to optimise efficiency.
  • Draw diagrams of supply chain systems to aid in customer conversations.
  • Create standard cost lists or forecasts for material costs.
  • Determine the proper staffing numbers and equipment requirements for loading, unloading, moving, and storing items.
  • Have meetings with suppliers to go over performance data, give feedback on performance, or talk about production modifications or forecasts.
  • Introduce fresh or better supply chain procedures.
  • Create or put into place procedures or frameworks for assessing or choosing suppliers.
  • Examine data on supplier performance or the accomplishments of procurement programs.
  • Create or put in place supply networks that assist with environmental regulations.
  • Record the actual supply chain processes, including workflows, cycle times, job duties, and system flows.
  • Create or put into action plant warehousing plans for raw materials or finished goods.
  • To guarantee that production or material flow changes occur in a timely and orderly manner, take part in the coordination of engineering changes, product line expansions, or new product launches.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Freight forwarding, warehousing, shipping, and transportation.
  • Metrics for contract drafting and rates.
  • Workforce management and training experience.
  • Computer-savvy. Writing and speaking English with easy

 QUALIFICATION

Supply chain bachelor degree or equal with minimum 10 years in oil or petrochemical supply chain.
