National Medical Care Company was established in 2003 as a Closed Joint Stock Company owned by GOSI and group of shareholders. The business registered with the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) and went public in 2013. The organisation is the owner of three hospitals: National Care Hospital, created in 1966, and Family Health Care Centre, which began operations in 2017. Riyadh Care Hospital was formerly known as (Social Insurance Hospital), and it founded in 1990.
About the job
The staff nurse in charge of the Psychiatry ward is in charge of giving patients with mental health conditions thorough nursing care. Utilising the nursing process to deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with Care Hospital rules and procedures, MOH regulations, and accreditation standards, the nurse is in charge of providing nursing care activities and coordinating care planning with other disciplines.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Employs the nursing process when providing nursing care.
- Collects case history through interviews with patients and their relatives as part of the assessment process.
- Evaluates patients, monitors how interventions are being receive, notifies the doctor when necessary, completes documentation promptly, and consults with psychiatrists and other behavioral health staff to develop clients’ best course of treatment.
- Create a treatment strategy according to the severity of any emotional, social-cognitive, developmental, or behavioral disorders and the needs of the patient.
- Helping patients manage their daily tasks to maintain their safety and wellbeing.
- Follows MOH guidelines and worldwide standards for the safe custody, administration, and documentation of drugs, narcotics, and infusions.
- Promote patient and family engagement in the treatment strategy.
- Preserve the privacy of patient information.
- Employs the nursing process when providing nursing care.
- The capacity to establish a rapport with patients and offer assistance and advice to patients and their families.
- During instructional sessions, offering patients and family emotional support, active listening, and empathy.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses to them.
