About the Job
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create electronic replicas of instrument parameters and link text files with database data.
- Execute necessary instrument revisions on schedule.
- Examine the instrument-and-control component of supplier bids and take part in the supplier selection procedure.
- Check that the instrument-and-control design complies with the needs of the customer and any relevant codes.
- Determine which instruments need to be updated based on changes to the equipment specification.
- Discuss instrument and control problems in the project’s fabrication phase with the fabricator.
- Examine the equipment, fabrication, and site construction for conformity with applicable codes and project requirements.
- Consider and suggest fixes for technical problems in the control and instrument area.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities that is innovative.
- Superior critical thinking abilities and strong numeracy abilities.
- Effective interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Excellent teamwork abilities, including the capacity to inspire people and direct or oversee teams and projects.
- Adaptability and the capacity for negotiations.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Instrumentation engineer.
- Min GPA 3/4 & 3.75/5.
