About the Job

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create electronic replicas of instrument parameters and link text files with database data.
• Execute necessary instrument revisions on schedule.
• Examine the instrument-and-control component of supplier bids and take part in the supplier selection procedure.
• Check that the instrument-and-control design complies with the needs of the customer and any relevant codes.
• Determine which instruments need to be updated based on changes to the equipment specification.
• Discuss instrument and control problems in the project’s fabrication phase with the fabricator.
• Examine the equipment, fabrication, and site construction for conformity with applicable codes and project requirements.
• Consider and suggest fixes for technical problems in the control and instrument area.
